Our strategy consists of three pillars through which we implement a range of programs and initiatives:

The strategy also includes factors to support sustainability management and its cross-cutting application throughout the company: governance, objectives, incentives, and transparency.

Initiative led by Alicorp and Juguete Pendiente that aims to strengthen the management of food kitchens, turning them into self-sustainable organizations by working on four fronts:
Donations, training, equipment upgrades, and strategic alliances.

We articulate ecosystems and develop our suppliers' and customers' productivity and entrepreneurial skills

Palma Sostenible ("Sustainable Palm")

Technical assistance program for our suppliers and the palm farmers with whom they work, seeking to increase productivity and improve alignment with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) standard. Our operations are RSPO-certified. In 2022, we sold over 3,000 tons of certified sustainable oil.

Sustainable Supplier Management Program

We implemented a new process for external evaluation, assistance, and standardization of suppliers, including socioenvironmental components. Our goal is to evaluate 100% of our critical suppliers by the close of 2023.

Our marketplace offers over 14,700 Peruvian bakeries, restaurants, and laundries the ability to buy hundreds of products online and receive them in less than 48 hours, as well as providing business management training and access to digital tools and bank credit.

  • INSUMA users reduced the amount of time dedicated to business logistics by 25%.
  • 75% say their sales have improved.

Emissions Reduction

We reduced our direct greenhouse gas emissions by more than 2,000 tons of Co2eq compared to the previous year, equal to the annual emissions of approximately 1,500 compact cars.

Food Waste

90% of food waste was recovered for reuse.

Reduction of Materials

21% cumulative reduction of primary container and packaging materials.

2022 Carbon Footprint Reduction

We implemented initiatives that reduced our greenhouse gas emissions, most notably:

  • Migration to LED lighting at the Fideería Plant (pasta)
  • Operational improvements in the boilers at the COPSA Plant (oil production)
  • Improved equipment temperature control at the COPSA Plant (oil)

We produce refined flours and oils from sunflower and soybean, while promoting improved productivity and sustainability among Bolivian farmers.

Crushing

We develop the best comprehensive, cost-efficient, and sustainable solutions to meet the needs of Latin American aquaculture professionals engaged in fish and shrimp farming.

Aquaculture

The only hair care brand designed and tested for the true needs of Peruvian women.

Launch of the Year: Amarás

New automated order management tool used by our salesforce.

Alisoluciones

We build collection centers for empty agricultural input packaging, which is then converted into polytubes and other materials that are returned to producers for use in irrigation systems.

Recycling Collection Center

We created this important research and development network to study comprehensive solutions for white shrimp.

Technological Aquaculture Experimentation Center

Marketplace for Peruvian bodega owners, available 24 hours a day, with access to digital tools.

Diadía

Marketplace that has reached 14,720 Peruvian restaurant and bakery customers, streamlining purchasing logistics management.

Insuma

Real-time support for bolivian farmers, 24 hours a day, with a WhatsApp chatbot.

Felipe Virtual Assistant

Digital ecosystem that provides technical assistance to shrimp farmers, helping to maximize productivity and efficiency in ponds.
