Ethics and Compliance

We have an ethics and compliance system certified with ISO 37001 anti-bribery management system.

Initiative led by Alicorp and Juguete Pendiente that aims to strengthen the management of community kitchens, through the delivery of food, improvement of equipment, training and strategic alliances.
In 2023, we will also implement the entrepreneurship phase, supporting them with training and seed capital to develop their business ideas and generate income that will allow the self-sustainability of their community kitchens.

Sustainable Palm Program

Technical assistance program for palm farmers and mills in Peru to improve their productivity and sustainability standards.

  • We evaluate all our palm suppliers according to ESG criteria.
  • 9 organizations in the program developed their sustainability policies.

Sustainable Soy Program

Technical assistance program for soy producers in Bolivia, which seeks to improve their productivity and sustainability standards.

  • We achieved traceability of 18.5% of the volume of soy harvested, from the field to the mill.

Suppliers' Sustainable Management Program

This program seeks to improve the efficiency and continuity of operations, developing the environmental, social, governance, and ethics skills.

  • We effectively integrated ESG criteria into the supplier standardization process.
  • We were able to evaluate 70% of our critical and strategic suppliers under these criteria.

Our marketplace offers more than 18,500 Peruvian bakeries, restaurants and laundries the possibility of buying hundreds of products online and receiving them in less than 48 hours, as well as training in business management and accessing digital tools and bank loans at preferential rates.

INSUMA users:

  • Reduced the time spent on business purchases by 25%.
  • 75% of our customers reported higher sales.
  • 87% said their procurement management had improved.

Promote care for the environment to positively impact our planet.

Climate Action Strategy

  • We conducted our first physical weather risk evaluation at 17 sites of major operational importance.
  • We achieved a reduction equivalent to 9% of our Scope 1 and 2 emissions in Peru with respect to the previous year.
  • We were able to reduce our water footprint by 41.3% compared to the previous year.

Circular Economy

  • Club del EcoAhorro (“Eco-savings Club”):
    Initiative that promotes the recycling of vegetable oil from the gastronomic sector in Peru and Bolivia, to reincorporate used oil into new production cycles.
  • Product life cycle analysis:
    Together with the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), we developed studies to determine the environmental impacts along the value chain of our margarines and plastic oil containers.

In 2023, we defined our Climate Action Strategy. We included a roadmap aligned with the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

We integrate sustainability across the company

Organizational Alignment and Incentives

  • We define corporate sustainability objectives that influence the objectives of the company’s different vice presidents and departments.
  • We integrate sustainability transversally into key decision-making processes.

Organizational Structure and Governance Model

  • Definition of areas responsible for the preparation, review, approval, and monitoring of the sustainability strategy and its initiatives, which are submitted to the Board of Directors, Alicorp's highest governance body.

ESG Impact, Monitoring, and Reporting

  • We have integrated our ESG Materiality with the S&P/ DJSI Corporate Sustainability Assessment framework and we have a system to evaluate the maturity of the company’s cross-cutting sustainability management.
  • We have a set of transparency and disclosure mechanisms in place, including our integrated reporting.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • We promote alliances in favor of sustainable development and proactively manage the participation of our stakeholders. We also have a grievance mechanism available to all our stakeholders at www.lineaeticaalicorp.com

We accompany millions of households through our portfolio of food, household cleaning, and personal care products.

We launch two new Amarás collections:
Magia andina (Andean Magic), focused on intensive hair repair, and Amor de Verano (Summer Love), focused on hydration and protection against UV rays during the summer.

We present a new powder detergent:
Bolivar Micellar Protection, with a technology that provides a deep clean while caring for clothes, thanks to the action of micelles.

We relaunched our iconic cookie brand Casino, giving it a more fun, modern image.

Digital ecosystem for our bodega customers in Peru, with more than 800 products available 24 hours a day and a loyalty program designed for their needs.

Diadía

In 2023, we began selling our Tari sauce in the U.S. market standing out because its unique ingredients such as ají amarillo and rocoto, two chili peppers grown in Peru.

We provide supplies for the sectors of gastronomy, bakery, cleaning and industrial customers. Our focus is on training and support.

This digital ecosystem, designed for restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops and laundries, offers a complete portfolio of products and services, an optimized shopping experience, digital tools and training for entrepreneurs.

Insuma

Program that seeks to promote the growth of the businesses of our B2B costumers and bakery and restaurant owners. We provide digital tools, financing services, advice on implementing marketing strategies, and other areas of training.

Crecemos Juntos

We produce refined flours and oils from sunflower and soy seeds, promoting improved productivity and sustainability for Bolivian farmers.

We worked hand-in-hand with farmers, making around 560 field visits to 84 of them, assisting them in the process to help them obtain optimal results.

Specialized advisory

We shared sustainability-related topics and trained over 200 farmers through technical talks in the field. We also performed a risk diagnosis with 50 farmers to strengthen our Responsible Supply Policy (RSP).

Sustainability training

We develop the best cost-efficient and sustainable integrated solutions for the needs of Latin American fish and shrimp farmers.

The world's largest shrimp research network, the Nicovita Experimental Aquaculture Technology Center (CEAT), dedicated mainly to research, technology development validation and model production center, began operations.
