Amarás is a living example of how we integrate sustainability into our brands. Through its actions, we encourage the diversity of local beauty, highlighting the importance of self-love, and celebrating all hair types.

  • Program Niñas con Oportunidades. In 2024, we joined this CARE Perú initiative aimed at empowering girls and young women from rural areas of Peru.

We articulate ecosystems and build productive and business capabilities of suppliers and clients

Palma Sostenible

Technical assistance program for palm growers and mills in Peru aimed at improving productivity and sustainability standards.

Results:

  • More than 500 palm growers and technicians trained in sustainability management aligned with the RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil).
  • Implemented a satellite-based tool for traceability and deforestation monitoring.
  • Supported two independent smallholder associations, APROMAN and ASPASH, toward RSPO certification.
  • Developed a capacity-building program to close ESG gaps among direct palm oil suppliers.

Sustainable Supplier Management

We operate a sustainable supplier management system under our Responsible Sourcing Policy (PAR). We segment suppliers based on their strategic importance and their relevance to sustainability. Based on this classification, we evaluate suppliers on issues such as employee well-being, human and labor rights, occupational health and safety, environment, business ethics, finances, operational capacity, and commercial management.By the end of 2024, we had evaluated 100% of our critical and strategic suppliers.

We provide entrepreneurs with tools to strengthen their businesses, promoting capacity building in digitalization, process optimization, integration of management tools, and more, enabling them to continue their success stories.

We promote environmental stewardship to positively impact our planet

Waste and residue management

  • 89.7% of food waste reused with alternative uses.
  • 39% of waste recovered and integrated into new value chains.
  • 64% of total clay residue generated in our refining process recovered and integrated into other production processes.

Packaging management

In 2024, we implemented 17 initiatives that reduced packaging material consumption by 188 tons. Of this total, 85% corresponded to reductions in paper and cardboard, and 15% to plastics.

Climate action strategy

Our climate action strategy includes a roadmap aligned with the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

  • We surpassed our 2030 target in absolute terms, achieving a 14% reduction in scope 1 and 2 carbon footprint relative to the 2022 baseline.
  • We reduced our direct water footprint(*) by 14.50% compared to 2022.
  • We identified physical climate risks at 50% of the most operationally important sites.

(*) This reduction in the water footprint includes direct water consumption.

Organizational alignment and incentives

  • We defined corporate sustainability objectives and integrated sustainability transversally into key decision-making processes such as investment allocation, risk management, supplier evaluation, manufacturing, financing strategy, and others.

  • We defined processes for the design, review, approval, and monitoring of sustainability strategy and initiatives, which are elevated to the Board of Directors, Alicorp’s highest governing body.

ESG impact, monitoring and disclosure

  • We have a monitoring system aligned with the Corporate Sustainability Assessment framework of S&P Global.
  • We prepare an integrated report with independent assurance covering all material ESG topics.

  • We promote partnerships in favor of sustainable development and stakeholder participation. We also have a grievance, query, and claims mechanism available to all stakeholders..

• Through the AlaCena rebranding and the campaign “Comidas cotidianas,” we highlighted it as the perfect complement to family meals. We also launched the “sachetón,” a new 50g mayonnaise format.

• In 2024, we continued deploying Casino’s new strategy, connecting closely with younger consumers.

Bolívar closed the year with +2% sales volume growth versus 2024.

Opal relaunched its brand with a new formula, new packaging, and a 360° consumer campaign.

Marsella remained the volume leader in its category, launching “Amazonía Tropical”, strengthening its fragrance positioning.
