Lima, March 2, 2026.- Alicorp confirmed the acquisition of 60% of the shares in Inka Crops and Procesadora Tropical, consolidating its entry into the snacks category and marking a new milestone in its growth strategy.

With this operation, the Peruvian company adds iconic brands such as Inka Chips and Inka Corn to its portfolio—benchmarks of quality in the local market with a growing international presence. In turn, Inka Crops and Procesadora Tropical join a company with solid distribution capabilities, extensive national coverage, and a presence in various markets across the region.

This integration represents a growth opportunity for both organizations: Alicorp strengthens its value proposition in the snacks category, while Inka Crops expands its capacity for growth and reach to new consumers, both in Peru and throughout the region.

It is worth noting that Inka Crops has over 25 years of experience, a snack portfolio preferred by consumers, and a consolidated supply chain with close relationships with local agricultural producers. Currently, its products reach more than 25 countries, including the United States, Ecuador, and Chile.

Gonzalo Uribe, CEO of Alicorp, commented: “This operation confirms our commitment to continued growth in categories where we can generate value and differentiation. Inka Crops is a company with strong brands, an integrated agricultural chain, and a relevant positioning in international markets. We are convinced that, together, we can boost its growth, strengthen the snacks category, and accompany more consumers in their daily lives.
