Lima, April 2025 – Alicorp, a leading mass consumption company, reaffirms its strong commitment to ethics and best practices by obtaining the recertification of its Anti-Bribery Management System in accordance with the international ISO 37001 standard, granted by AENOR (Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification). This achievement, which is renewed every three years, reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to fostering an organizational culture based on integrity and transparency in all its operations.
The ISO 37001 standard specifies the requirements for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an anti-bribery management system. It enables Alicorp to effectively identify and mitigate bribery risks through robust processes, policies, and controls, as well as secure reporting channels.
This year, Alicorp goes a step further in its commitment to integrity by obtaining the Anti-Corruption Certification from Empresarios por la Integridad (ExI), an initiative that promotes a corruption-free Peru and of which Alicorp is an active member. This certification positions Alicorp as the first and only mass consumption company in the country to receive this recognition, highlighting its leadership and strong belief in the importance of business ethics.
“This recertification and the ExI certification are a reflection of Alicorp’s unwavering commitment to ethics and transparency in every aspect of our business. We firmly believe that operating with integrity is not only the right thing to do, but also essential for building a sustainable future and creating value for all our stakeholders. These credentials support our decisions and strengthen our ability to operate in an increasingly demanding global environment,” said Marcel Cordero, Corporate Legal and Compliance Director at Alicorp.
Obtaining both certifications reinforces Alicorp’s ongoing commitment to promoting an ethical culture and implementing strong professional principles. It also aligns its processes with international standards that promote sustainability and a safe business environment. This helps mitigate risks that could compromise business sustainability, strengthens trust throughout the entire value chain, and ensures compliance with legal frameworks and international best practices, such as Peru’s Law 30424 and its amendments.
With these important certifications, Alicorp reaffirms its sustained commitment to upholding the highest standards of business ethics and actively promoting excellence in the sector, strengthening its position as a benchmark company that places integrity at the core of its management model.
