Lima, November 17, 2025. – The consumer goods company Alicorp announced via a Material Event notice the signing of an agreement for the potential acquisition of 60% of the shares in Inka Crops and Procesadora Tropical.
The closing of this transaction will be subject to the conditions established in the contract and the standard approvals required for this type of operation.
Through this potential acquisition, Alicorp could incorporate the snacks category into its Food portfolio, where it already holds iconic brands favored by consumers.
Inka Crops is a Peruvian company with over 25 years in the market and a robust portfolio of diverse snacks. For its part, Procesadora Tropical is the company dedicated to supplying Inka Crops with raw materials for its production.
Both companies possess a solid supply chain and work closely with Peruvian agricultural producers. Among their most well-known brands in Peru are Inka Chips and Inka Corn. Furthermore, they export products to more than 25 countries, including the United States, Ecuador, and Chile.
