Lima, April 2024 — Angel Cereals, part of Alicorp’s product portfolio, announces the relaunch of its cereal line with a comprehensive proposal that combines an improved formula enriched with more iron and other nutrients directly related to energy production in the body, helping support physical and mental performance throughout the day. This launch is accompanied by a new packaging design and a vision more in line with consumers’ daily balance and wellness goals.

Thanks to fortification with NutriGo, a new formula developed by Alicorp, Angel now offers greater nutritional value. A 30g serving provides 60% of the recommended daily iron, as well as 45% of the recommended daily B-complex vitamins (including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folic acid, and B12). These values follow the Codex Alimentarius reference standards.

Market research conducted by the brand revealed a growing interest in products that deliver sustained energy without compromising flavor. “This evolution responds to a consumer looking for practical options with nutritional benefits, and to our commitment to offering value-added brands and products in the market,” said Gonzalo Álvarez-Calderón, Alicorp’s Marketing Manager for farinaceous products.

In this new phase, packaging design plays a key role. The redesign, developed with branding agency Hirakata Studio, visually reflects the product’s nutritional focus. The new look highlights the cereal’s texture and includes elements like a prominently featured spoon and an attractive bowl, reinforcing the idea that nutrition and enjoyment can go hand in hand.

Through various channels, the brand will reinforce a message that goes beyond functionality: “A perfect breakfast helps you reach your dreams,” a concept tied to the emotional value of breakfast as the first step of the day.

The new Angel cereals are now available in major stores, supermarkets, and other retail outlets across the country. This renewal is part of Alicorp’s commitment to evolve alongside the changing needs of Peruvian consumers and its mission of Feeding a Better Tomorrow.
