Continuing with its tour of the south of the country, Ollas que Desarrollan arrives this September 6 and 7 for the first time in Cusco, to bring 5.5 tons of food, equivalent to 56,250 servings, to 7 common pots identified in the towns of Patacancha, Huancahuasi and the city of Cusco.

The program led by Alicorp and managed by the NGO Juguete Pendiente, which in its 4 months of deployment has brought more than 1 million rations to 163 common pots located in Piura, Chiclayo, Trujillo, Lima, Arequipa and Ayacucho, continues to join forces with different strategic allies to provide support to these social organizations that feed thousands of families that do not have sufficient resources.

According to the latest INEI report on inflation at the end of August, Cusco is one of the regions of the country whose annual percentage variation of the consumer price index is above 10%. As is known, Peru and several countries worldwide are being affected by increases in the prices of raw materials, fuels, energy, among other factors, which are making the cost of living more expensive.

For this reason, during these months of work, Alicorp, together with Juguete Pendiente, aware of the importance of continuing to support those who need it most, have been joining efforts with strategic allies that have allowed them to expand their reach to other common pots in the country. implement them with kitchen utensils and impart knowledge on different topics to the leaders of these organizations so that they can better manage their businesses.

We have been working tirelessly to make Ollas que Desarrollan the scalable and sustainable project over time that we imagined when we started. To date we have various allies thanks to which we continue to provide support and strengthening to the country's common pots, organizations that play a fundamental role in feeding thousands of people. Thanks to this initiative, we have managed to serve more than 16,000 people whose daily food depends on these social organizations, which are so important in our country," says Malena Morales, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Alicorp.

In this way, Ollas que Desarrollan arrives for the first time in Cusco and in October it will return to the region to provide classes and utensils to the leaders of the common pots.

The program continues to seek to positively impact the communities and invites companies, organizations and individuals to be part of the initiative through the website www.ollasquedesarrollan.pe
