  • Auna, through its breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis program, joins the Ollas Que Desarrollo program, to promote self-diagnosis and early detection of this disease to women leaders of communal pots over 40 years of age participating in this program. initiative.

According to statistics from the Peruvian Ministry of Health, 28 cases of breast cancer are registered annually per 100,000 inhabitants in the country, with women over 35 years of age being the most affected. Early detection is key, with a 90% chance of cure. In this context, Auna, a leading health ecosystem with a presence in Peru, Colombia and Mexico, incorporates into its regional program of preventive mammograms and health awareness talks the leaders of the common pots that are part of the Pots That Develop initiative. from Alicorp.

The purpose of Pots that Develop is to contribute to the maintenance of common pots through training on management, nutrition, entrepreneurship and other topics for their leaders. In addition to this and as part of its commitment to the prevention and early identification of breast cancer, Auna joins this initiative, through the program it has been implementing at the regional level for the implementation of free mammograms and awareness talks in Peru, Colombia and Mexico. Thus, Auna also seeks to contribute to the health care of the leaders of these communal pots, considering the key role they play in their communities.
