Alicorp has been distinguished in the latest edition of the National 5S Awards, awarded by the Association of Technical Organizations of Japan (AOTS), thus recognizing the outstanding implementation of the 5S system in the company's supply chain.

The 5S system is a work philosophy of Japanese origin that is based on five fundamental principles: Selection, Order, Cleanliness, Standardization and Discipline (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitzuke). For its part, Alicorp has successfully adopted these principles, achieving a significant transformation in its processes and continuous improvement in operational efficiency.

This year, Alicorp was honored with three awards in different categories:

  • Alicorp Envasado Copsa Plant: Silver Award.
  • Intracan Intradevco Plant: Silver Award.
  • Alicorp Huachipa Distribution Center: Bronze Award.

Representatives from each of these plants received the three prestigious awards given to the company for their outstanding implementation of the 5S system, reaffirming the company's commitment to quality, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

The AOTS, a non-profit association founded on September 13, 1966, brings together professionals, technicians and businessmen who have completed advanced studies in AOTS – Japan. Its National 5S Award seeks to disseminate and promote the culture of continuous improvement in the country, publicly recognizing those Peruvian organizations that demonstrate successful implementation of the aforementioned program.
